Members Club Ride launched month after snowy-no-go

After a snowy postponement in March, today we officially launched our Club Ride!

Not to be confused with the already established Club Social Ride – it’s launched with routes, distances and ride-pacing designed to help members improve their fitness and ability while taking in some of the Home Counties’ loveliest countryside.

The first challenge was the Cobham / Ranmore / Headley Loop. Distances of 100km/62 miles & 80km /50miles were on offer with 4 speed groups.

And on 2018 Paris-Roubaix day we event took in a cheeky off-road path or two, doffing a cap to the famous cobbled classic.

Groups split for the cafe stop with some heading for Ryka’s Cafe at the bottom of Box Hill others to Pilgrim’s Cafe at Box Hill & Westhumble station (see pic)

A bit of drizzle but it was warm. We’ll take that after the snow!
